Standard scope includes any remote IT support in the following areas:

What's not included
I'll always be upfront about scope. These areas require a separate quote or referral:
- 24/7 monitored support or after-hours on-call
- On-premises server infrastructure (Windows Server, NAS, domain controllers)
- Compliance-specific requirements (healthcare, government, finance regulations)
- Structured cabling installs (requires a licensed cabler)
- Large-scale device fleet management (MDM / Intune at scale)

What if my issue takes less than 30 minutes?
The minimum billing increment is 30 minutes. You're never charged for a full hour when it's a 10-minute fix.
Do my prepaid hours expire?
No. Maintenance hours don't expire under normal use. Discretionary expiry applies only after extended inactivity — the threshold is defined in the engagement terms, and you'll be notified well in advance.
What if I need more than my retainer hours?
Additional hours are billed at the standard rate ($165/hr + GST). You'll always be told before we go over — no surprise invoices.
Can you come on-site?
Remote-first. Most issues are resolved faster via remote access anyway. On-site visits are available by arrangement in Adelaide and surrounds — discussed at the time of the request.
What's not included in standard scope?
24/7 on-call monitoring, on-premises server infrastructure (Windows Server, domain controllers), compliance-heavy regulated industries, and structured cabling installs. If your needs fall outside standard scope, I'll be upfront about it and point you in the right direction.
What can I use prepaid hours for?
Any remote IT support within scope: email issues, Microsoft 365 admin, DNS problems, workstation setup, security configuration, user account management, general troubleshooting. If you're not sure whether something is in scope, just ask.
